Usually, if I come across something worth reading, I’ll just forward it on in the ever flowing stream that is Facebook, but sometimes there are things that are so impactful that I think I will share them here instead – half reference for myself, and half recommendation to anyone who is remotely interested in what I like.
- Sher, at JUSTembrace, yet again experiences Jesus.
- RedLetterChristians published a great post about Rob Bell, of Nooma and Mars Hill fame. Rob wrote a new book, What We Talk About When We Talk About God, and then did an interview in which he unequivocally supports marriage, straight and gay. He was already starting to be rejected by the Evangelicals, but this is certain to make the rift even wider. The interview was awesome, so listen (or download for later) if you can! Thanks to this interview, I’m currently reading his last book, Love Wins: A Book About Heaven, Hell, and the Fate of Every Person Who Ever Lived.
- Jen Hatmaker, author of several books, including 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess, wrote of recently having an invitation to speak a church be revoked due to her open questioning of the path of the Christian church.
