4/2 Weigh In – TFTS

Tales from the Scales LogoI have taken a hiatus this past week from dwelling on things weight-loss. It has been wonderful. I can’t say that I have eaten more than in previous weeks, in fact I was down a pound from the past couple of weeks. I needed to take a break. I was stressing out and it took my mom telling me to “not think about it” for a while to realize that I was in full swing obsession.

I’m going to carry on for at least another week of just being thankful for my body, taking every angry or frustrated thought about my weight and turning it into a simple prayer of thanksgiving and letting it go. It feels a LOT better than what I was doing before. We’ll see…

    Good for you. We do sometimes have to take a break from obsessing! We do have so much to be thankful for simply living in this country. Sometimes we can lose when we aren’t focusing on it. Congrats! 🙂

    A break is a great thing to have. You need not stress over weight loss it should just become part of who you are.
