May Day Challenge – Weigh In

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketI’m still here. The holiday weekend was full of food and I partook. I tried to think about it differently, but in the end the grazing and chatting happened the same as it always does.

I must say that the same thing happened again. I gained and then I lost right back to the beginning. But I must also say that I have not been actively participating. I think about it strongly in the morning and then by the end of the day, I’m back to my original way of life.


Today is a new day. (And a Tuesday! Hooray for short work weeks!) I got a sneak preview of a devotional, by Elisa, that will be on Faith Lifts this Thursday and it really made an impact with me. I am going to read Believing God again. And hopefully it will sink in further this time.

    You keep up the work–in the end it will pay off.
    I was a little behind last week. This week I don’t know if I deserved it but I took two off.
    Maybe we can both do good this coming week.
    I believe God is who He says He is
    I believe God can do what He says He can do
    I believe I am who He says I am
    I believe I can do what He says I can do
    I believe God’s word is active and alive in me today
    A little reminder is always good! It has been a long time since I did this study and I remembered. Good for me. Now I just have to remember number five when I don’t feel like I have enough self control to stop stuffing my face.

    Lundie — hang in there, girl. You’re gonna get this, I just KNOW it! 😉 I went back up the 2 lbs I’d originally lost, but I’m not counting it as “terrible”… just a minor “glitch” in my program. LOL. I ate way too much fast-food over the weekend, and didn’t move much (as I was traveling in a vehicle for most of the 4 days), so that would account for the regain. 😉

    Chin up! Today’s a new day! (Remember: “His mercies are new EVERY morning!”)
